Aw, don't be mad...that's a compliment, isn't it? Satan's grace has shined upon you and you have more opportunities to show just why you deserve an invite to the house party.

For those of you who slept in the dorm last night, when you make your way downstairs to head off for the day you'll be greeted with a new message on the white board in the common room.

Just in case you needed the reminder.

But out the door you go for another fun-filled (?) week. At the dock, there's a ferry happily floating on the lava and waiting for you to climb aboard. While there are still several islands in your line of vision you can't quite see, it seems as though the ferry can now shuttle you between the college island and a new locations called Hallow's Hollow. Watch your step upon de-boarding! Wouldn't want you to slip and drown in the lava, now would we?

A new place might be a great opportunity to take your mind off of the events of last week. You're probably feeling a little angry, or sad, or frustrated. Maybe you're feeling annoyed or hopeless about the situation. But it's a little strange...even for those of you who are usually very good at keeping yourself in check, things feel a bit different now. Over the course of the week you will find yourself dealing with intense emotions, feelings that swarm over you and won't calm down until you're emotionally vulnerable with someone else. Yes, all right, some of you are already quite good at feeling your feelings, but for the rest of you? This may be something you just can't ignore no matter how hard you try.

It almost seems as though it's simply meant to be an annoyance.

-This week's effect is emotional overload! Characters will experience intense emotions at unprompted times (rule of funny applies) and will not be able to calm down until they share these emotions/their feelings with another character. These emotions can be good or bad.

… I think you’d write pretty good dry comedy, actually. Maybe you should dabble in a side genre.

I haven't not written comedy. It was still largely my typical stuff, but I've dabbled in things with a dark humour, black comedy sort of tone.

Horror is my brand, though. It's good to stay loyal to an image.

Good to be flexible though, but if it works why shake it up too much?

I will definitely try once I escape here and catch him on his breaks.

He usually comes to me, so yes. I can "tackle him" during his break.

I'm pretty flexible but dedicated at the same time.

I don't think I could ever do an entire genre change, though. I really do put myself into my writings -- if I tried certain other genres, it just wouldn't be sincere.

Like romance. Blegh.

Well, you know, I like people in general. So I just...try to help people, you know? I guess that's my passion. [He brightens up a little] A-And parties. I kinda became a bit of a host of them, and most of the time they turn out pretty well!

[Among the many sad sack things in his profile, 'hosting parties' really is one of the skills listed, and from the sounds of it, it's one of the few things Filbo actually feels confident about.

After a pause, he confesses because, hey, Kuranosuke said a nice reason for his own passion, so...may as well confess his own]

...I kinda began doing them because I have--ah, had this friend who turned into an adventurer. She was...pretty much the only person outside immediate family who, well...kinda treated me like someone with feelings. Like the sister I never had. So she went into the adventuring life and from time to time she would come back to town, and I just--I tried my best to make her welcome every time. And what better way to do that than to celebrate, you know?

[He sounds absolutely adoring. For Lizbert there was nothing Filbo wouldn't have done. Even drop everything else in his life when she was all 'yo filbo want to come in my crew to this distant island with rumors of doom and horror']
