Rise and shine, little deadlings. Hellions? Hm, well, no matter the name you're all in the same situation...and alive! Good for you! You're doing better than some of the others.

Aw, don't be mad...that's a compliment, isn't it? Satan's grace has shined upon you and you have more opportunities to show just why you deserve an invite to the house party.

For those of you who slept in the dorm last night, when you make your way downstairs to head off for the day you'll be greeted with a new message on the white board in the common room.

Six Weeks and Four Days Until Satan's House Party!!

Just in case you needed the reminder.

But out the door you go for another fun-filled (?) week. At the dock, there's a ferry happily floating on the lava and waiting for you to climb aboard. While there are still several islands in your line of vision you can't quite see, it seems as though the ferry can now shuttle you between the college island and a new locations called Hallow's Hollow. Watch your step upon de-boarding! Wouldn't want you to slip and drown in the lava, now would we?

A new place might be a great opportunity to take your mind off of the events of last week. You're probably feeling a little angry, or sad, or frustrated. Maybe you're feeling annoyed or hopeless about the situation. But it's a little strange...even for those of you who are usually very good at keeping yourself in check, things feel a bit different now. Over the course of the week you will find yourself dealing with intense emotions, feelings that swarm over you and won't calm down until you're emotionally vulnerable with someone else. Yes, all right, some of you are already quite good at feeling your feelings, but for the rest of you? This may be something you just can't ignore no matter how hard you try.

It almost seems as though it's simply meant to be an annoyance.

-This week's effect is emotional overload! Characters will experience intense emotions at unprompted times (rule of funny applies) and will not be able to calm down until they share these emotions/their feelings with another character. These emotions can be good or bad.

Well, you know, I like people in general. So I just...try to help people, you know? I guess that's my passion. [He brightens up a little] A-And parties. I kinda became a bit of a host of them, and most of the time they turn out pretty well!

[Among the many sad sack things in his profile, 'hosting parties' really is one of the skills listed, and from the sounds of it, it's one of the few things Filbo actually feels confident about.

After a pause, he confesses because, hey, Kuranosuke said a nice reason for his own passion, so...may as well confess his own]

...I kinda began doing them because I have--ah, had this friend who turned into an adventurer. She was...pretty much the only person outside immediate family who, well...kinda treated me like someone with feelings. Like the sister I never had. So she went into the adventuring life and from time to time she would come back to town, and I just--I tried my best to make her welcome every time. And what better way to do that than to celebrate, you know?

[He sounds absolutely adoring. For Lizbert there was nothing Filbo wouldn't have done. Even drop everything else in his life when she was all 'yo filbo want to come in my crew to this distant island with rumors of doom and horror']

[Trust me, the reason why I began to feel interested in Filbo as a character was that I saw how hard he was trying to reach out to others and how little it was appreciated. Yes, he's a screw-up who was a bit over his head in general, but also uf, give him a break, guys, he's trying. I'm not kidding when I say that this and the other murdergame I played him in are the best social times he has had, compared to 90% of canon.

When Kuranosuke says that, well...Filbo goes silent. Very much so. He knows he should say something, but he just...goes quiet, not even knowing how to respond in a way that's not going to make the mood plummet down like crazy]

N-No, don't blame yourself, it all isn't really anything you could have known. No hard feelings, it's alright.

[...he's a tad hesitant to talk, but, well...if Kuranosuke really wants to know...he'd be willing to speak. He does trust Kuranosuke, really, but at the same time he does feel bad about bringing the mood down. It's pretty obvious he's leaving up to Kuranosuke about if he really should speak up]

...right, okay, I get it - no hard feelings. But!

[kuranosuke looks at him.]

If I don't understand what I said wrong, I might say it again by accident, and I don't wanna do that. So, seriously, what's up?

...well, uh...

[Filbo hesitates, but finally begins]

Well...Lizbert was always looking out for me, and she liked to invite me to places. [To the point her girlfriend said Filbo was always following Lizbert around, really] A year ago she invited me to be part of an expedition she was doing to an island, and it was gonna be dangerous because there were rumors about the island? So we went, and...well, we were there for a year.

Long story short, some very messed up stuff happened at the end, and we all died trying to escape. Lizbert is the only one who I can't say with certainty she died, but even if she didn't...well, uh, with the aforementioned messed up stuff having...affected her, let's say, she's never going to be able to leave the island. Probably. She'll have to stay there for as long as she lives.

['Skills: failing everyone, being the last one to die'. Filbo indeed was the last one of the group to die during the disastrous and sudden end of the expedition]

[that's... that's rough. kuranosuke doesn't know what exactly filbo means by "some very messed up stuff," but honestly, from the sound of it it's not sounding unlike what they're going through in this murdergame.
