it's chandra, who is looking annoyed! aka life as usual. so he's clearly fine. like, there are light acid burns on his face, his clothes have too many cuts to count at a glance, there are various areas soaked in blood and also leaving a trail of blood on the ground as he moves, and he's also kind of crispy all over, but other than that he's fine! he doesn't look like he's in massive pain, which is all that matters.
one of his arms has bandages that were presumably once wrapped around it, though now ripped through and unravelled. underneath is pretty clearly Bad. also, bleeding. still, it's not stopping him from putting it to work alongside his other hand, though, as he apparently tries to pull someone else out with him...?
at least it explains what's taking so long compared to mephisto and sweet yoru.]
