WEEK THREE - TRIAL

Hello, deadlings. We're right back at it, huh?

You may have been wondering what you could possibly do in the aftermath of yesterday's beek. Your demons weren't entirely helpful, and it seems that there were no answers to be found. But on Saturday morning at 11am, you'll soon hear a sound coming from the dock. There's a large ferry waiting for you, and even if you resist you'll eventually find yourself compelled to climb aboard and set off on a short voyage. The islands around you look fairly blurry, but you don't go very far before you stop at a slab of land with two large buildings stationed. The Execution Bar is locked tight and you won't be able to head in that direction. Instead, once again, your feet navigate you to the building on the right as the door creaks open.

Inside is a bar. It's dimly lit in several places, but bright enough for you to see each other and navigate without running into the furniture. Tables and chairs are scattered around in front of the bar counter, and the floor is far less sticky than the bar on the other island. Stained glass windows decorate the walls depicting images of humanity's suffering, and concrete crosses and tombstones are gathered in the corners. The bar itself is fully stocked with all types of alcohol and mixers, along with an array of bar food to help keep your energy up.

At the head of the room lounging among the statues of saints and the Blessed Virgin are Bloody Mary, Malibu Sunset and Rosé. With them is also a cut-out of Guy Fieri, dressed as a (sexy?) samurai with a bunch of cool flames cut out of construction paper glued to his back as he walks away from an explosion. He is also holding a sign that says "YOU CAN SOLVE IT!" However, there are now paper tears glued to his face as well.

Above them hangs another hand-painted banner, sloppily thrown together.

You can try to leave, but the door to the bar has been locked. All of the windows are reinforced, and there isn't another way out. You've been called here for one reason...let the misery begin!

Hello, and welcome to your fourth trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about this week's murder! Characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.

There will be a mod-tag break between 4pm EST/1pm PST to 5pm EST/2pm PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure to read this page carefully and that your vote is in by the time trial finishes (9pm EST/6pm PST).

chandra'll begrudgingly take a photo of the peace sign for reference, mainly because i assume this means zagreus's hand is partially clenched into a fist—chandra will try and open it up just to make sure there are no secrets within.]

[ he will do his due diligence and take some damn pictures of the stupid feet and put his own foot next to them to measure it and all that nonsense. are they clear enough you can get a sense of size.

he'll look up and notice that all the animals are staring at him, and immediately get distracted from trying to harpoon an innocent hamster. ]

[is the glass dark, like it was manufactured to have a dark tint to it? or does it look discoloured? (is there a colour to it?)

can he make out the thickness of the glass, or any curving indicating it had some kind of shape before?]

[ it is ... broken metal and plastic. the plastic is black and the metal seems to vary in colors a little. but it's very broken. ]

anyway, chandra will... try and reposition zagreus's hand back into the peace sign. i GUESS.

he'll get to the back later, so for now, he's stripping zagreus of his pants (after removing the shards), sorry we still don't believe in privacy around here.

are his pants torn in any way / do they have any dampness i hate this. do his legs have any injuries?]

[ zag's phone has all of the same apps as everybody else's, and his messages appear to be to the personal demons but he cannot read what they are. boo. there are some photos in the camera roll of selfies with kuranosuke and date as an alpaca. there are also some pictures of date himself being wasted on the bottom bunk of their beds. and a video but the puppy is cerberus. ]

[how much metal and how much plastic? also how thick/strong are both? like does the plastic look like it was from something sturdy? how recyclable is it? does the metal look like it could have come from zag's ez cosplay jewelry, or is it something else?]

[ it was manufactured to have a dark tint to it! a dark brown, to be specific.

the thickness varies a bit, some of it is thinner than the rest. there is a little bit of a curve to some pieces. ]

anyway lu bixing looks at the footprints and can discern that there are two human sets! he takes some pics, but it's rough to get an idea of the actual size because Sand... and he obtains the black cloak!

gideon yells at the boat rat and he just looks distressed about it. but perhaps this allows her to notice that he already seemed pretty distressed... his boat rocks as he does his little fear wiggles.

itto takes some pictures of his feet next to the sand feetprints... but they are similarly difficult to discern size from. curse you, sand.

he yells at the animals... and as he approaches they just back up, keeping a perfect distance much like a game wall........ weird....... but he can hear them whispering amongst themselves about a neighbor being driven out of town by bullying and hate crimes. ]
