WEEK THREE - TRIAL

Hello, deadlings. We're right back at it, huh?

You may have been wondering what you could possibly do in the aftermath of yesterday's beek. Your demons weren't entirely helpful, and it seems that there were no answers to be found. But on Saturday morning at 11am, you'll soon hear a sound coming from the dock. There's a large ferry waiting for you, and even if you resist you'll eventually find yourself compelled to climb aboard and set off on a short voyage. The islands around you look fairly blurry, but you don't go very far before you stop at a slab of land with two large buildings stationed. The Execution Bar is locked tight and you won't be able to head in that direction. Instead, once again, your feet navigate you to the building on the right as the door creaks open.

Inside is a bar. It's dimly lit in several places, but bright enough for you to see each other and navigate without running into the furniture. Tables and chairs are scattered around in front of the bar counter, and the floor is far less sticky than the bar on the other island. Stained glass windows decorate the walls depicting images of humanity's suffering, and concrete crosses and tombstones are gathered in the corners. The bar itself is fully stocked with all types of alcohol and mixers, along with an array of bar food to help keep your energy up.

At the head of the room lounging among the statues of saints and the Blessed Virgin are Bloody Mary, Malibu Sunset and Rosé. With them is also a cut-out of Guy Fieri, dressed as a (sexy?) samurai with a bunch of cool flames cut out of construction paper glued to his back as he walks away from an explosion. He is also holding a sign that says "YOU CAN SOLVE IT!" However, there are now paper tears glued to his face as well.

Above them hangs another hand-painted banner, sloppily thrown together.

You can try to leave, but the door to the bar has been locked. All of the windows are reinforced, and there isn't another way out. You've been called here for one reason...let the misery begin!

Hello, and welcome to your fourth trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about this week's murder! Characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.

There will be a mod-tag break between 4pm EST/1pm PST to 5pm EST/2pm PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure to read this page carefully and that your vote is in by the time trial finishes (9pm EST/6pm PST).

Not sure, but someone could probably take a look at the blood I took from the hole - or the snake's wound if they wanna get close to it I guess - and compare it to the blood on the sword.

As usual — not without a good reason.

[chandra looks seriously like he's considering refusing for a few moments (especially given that no one else! in his cyoa group! is doing it!), but he glances over at uriel and will comply. it may or may not take him a while to remove his burned cloak and the rest of his clothes, though, seeing as how they're STICKING TO HIM thanks to a certain patdown.

it's hard to make out anything on his back given that his hair goes, like, all the way down to his knees, but front-wise:

- he has bandages wrapped completely around his abdomen and right arm/hand. he is not removing the bandages without being prompted
- along with strips of fabric used as makeshift bandages around his left shoulder and, to a lesser degree, random other areas (again, not removing anything)
- that last bit is probably because he clearly has a bunch of cuts all over his body, though the ones left uncovered aren't bleeding, at least
- aside from that, he has various bruises
- various burns
- burns of a different nature on his face
- parts of his skin that look. sort of like they melted a little? it's fine

anyway, as usual no touchy without permission, but do you really even want to knowing he's sticky.]

[kuranosuke is wearing a wig with a ribbon, a choker, a cute top with jeans, and a cute pair of boots, and has done his makeup as usual. his nails are done as well.

he takes off his boots, top, and strapless padded bra, then rolls up the jeans as far as they'll go - which, they're skinny jeans, so that's like. just a little above his ankles.

he's got a couple of faint scrapes on the palms of his hands, but they look like they're healing. the large wraparound bruise from last week is much more faded by now, though there are still some traces of it and a smattering of darker bruises on his back and sides. they vary in size, and one of them in particular on his lower back is only partially visible, peeking up from the hem of his pants.

there are also a few sets of double puncture wounds - two on his left leg a bit above his ankles, one on his right bicep, and two on his left wrist. A single puncture mark is visible on the right side of his neck, close to the strap of the choker. they look like they're starting to heal over, though there is a bit of swelling and discoloration on each of them.]

I think we might want to make sure nobody has a tiny stab wound just in case they stabbed the sword into the snake to cover up human blood, but.

the stab colored blood is a little more red since it's coming directly from the snake, but it's a reasonably decent match, yes. ]

The camera was a security camera, so in combination with the pictures... yeah, nah, this is warranted ostracism.

Hey, can I run back to the beach on the island real quick and see if I can get a picture of the bird...? Or one of its feathers to compare to the ones we found in the house?
