Hello, deadlings. Ready to work double-time?

You may have been wondering what you could possibly do in the aftermath of yesterday's beek. Your demons weren't entirely helpful, and it seems that there were no answers to be found. But on Saturday morning at 11am, you'll soon hear a sound coming from the dock. There's a large ferry waiting for you, and even if you resist you'll eventually find yourself compelled to climb aboard and set off on a short voyage. The islands around you look fairly blurry, but you don't go very far before you stop at a slab of land with two large buildings stationed. The Execution Bar is locked tight and you won't be able to head in that direction. Instead, once again, your feet navigate you to the building on the right as the door creaks open.

Inside is a bar. It's dimly lit in several places, but bright enough for you to see each other and navigate without running into the furniture. Tables and chairs are scattered around in front of the bar counter, and the floor is far less sticky than the bar on the other island. Stained glass windows decorate the walls depicting images of humanity's suffering, and concrete crosses and tombstones are gathered in the corners. The bar itself is fully stocked with all types of alcohol and mixers, along with an array of bar food to help keep your energy up.

At the head of the room lounging among the statues of saints and the Blessed Virgin are Bloody Mary, Cosmopolitan and Midori. With them is also a cut-out of Guy Fieri, dressed as a (sexy?) samurai with a bunch of cool flames cut out of construction paper glued to his back as he walks away from an explosion. He is also holding a sign that says "YOU CAN SOLVE IT!" However, there are now paper tears glued to his face as well. And he looks ready to fall apart.

The second, fresher Fieri is also still here. Why.

Above them hangs another hand-painted banner, sloppily thrown together.

You can try to leave, but the door to the bar has been locked. All of the windows are reinforced, and there isn't another way out. You've been called here for one reason...let the misery begin!

Hello, and welcome to your sixth trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about this week's murders! Characters will have time to examine the bodies of the victim and explore relevant locations.

There will be a mod-tag break between 4pm EST/1pm PST to 5pm EST/2pm PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure to read this page carefully and that your vote is in by the time trial finishes (9pm EST/6pm PST).

She'll comply, but she winces a little as she pulls the coat and shirt off. (she's leaving her underclothes on, thanks.) There is indeed a large scar on her left shoulder like she had said, but she also has chemical burns on both of her forearms and a bit on her shoulders and upper chest too, as well as some bandaging in a few places on said forearms. She'll pull those off unasked, showing narrow stab marks in those places.

Pants come off too but she's uninjured on her legs, thanks.

Then she looks at the two, anxious and a little scared, wondering where things will go now.]

[ let's start with the beegu. it's just a bloody heap on the ground! he can look at it if he wants, but there's nothing beyond the fact that it looks like a bloody kigu.

which is convenient, because the questionable stain actually appears to be some blood that didn't get quite mopped up. hm.

over in the kigu pile, rynlan can search. there doesn't seem to be anything in any pockets, and when he looks at the bear kigu there appears to be a little bit of dirt smeared around the bottom (around the ankles.) there is some dirt around the bottom of the hamster kigu, and also the mouse kigu. besides these ones, the squirrel kigu also has some dirt on the bottom. ]

And sometimes it's just someone happy to see you. Go ahead.

[he will subject himself to this but there's nothing murder-related to find.]

[hm. thanks, hate that. he's giving the bear, hamster, mouse, and squirrel kigus closer examination-- is the dirt smearing the same on all of them? consistent between kigus? also, anything else on these kigus now that he's paying closer attention and checking both sides?]

[Okay, then if it's cool to spread the thing out, can we at least confirm whether it looks like the kigu soaked up blood while someone was wearing it (blood inside) versus someone bleeding on the outside? No knife marks through the kigu or patterns to the bloodstains?

Looking around the questionable bloodstain then, are there any drips or smears leading to or from it, what kind of shape is it, is there anything stuck in it?]

[ she will probably ask for help removing them, but she won't fight the request.

yes, the wound matches that description pretty well! anticipating further questions, she goes ahead and removes the dressing, too—it looks like it was made with something the size of a knife or dagger rather than a sword, and it's both shallow enough and positioned in such a way to have missed anything vital.

it also starts bleeding a little now that the gauze isn't plugging it up anymore, so like, yay harrow probably has some 2iick blood dude on her hands now. it's like regular blood, just golden. ]

[ cool. okay. fantastic. neat.

he takes in a breath for a moment, inhale, exhale. no real outer reaction beyond that, at first. he barely looks at the scar, focusing instead on the burns, and coming around to check her back, too, to see if there's anything there. he'll take her hands, when they're done, check under her nails.

and then, take another deep breath, and bixing closes his eye...

...then opens it, and gives tuuri a look that is just - soft, apologetic, and so, so sad, before he smiles, and claps his hands together. he's not really looking at zelgadis, either. ]

...See? [ warm. easy.] Not so bad at all. No pressure.

[harrow is the least squeamish person in the world. anyway, she'll help her redress and bandage it she's pretty good at that.]

[ it's hard to determine much about the dirt-kigus in the gift shop. he may have to take them back to the trial to investigate them further. will rynlan look elsewhere around the room?

the beegu is all in one piece and it's blood on the outside. it's kind of spread everywhere and not concentrated in one spot.

the bloodstain looks like a bunch of big drops of blood hit the floor and the remains of those drops being smeared away. there's nothing stuck in the stain itself though, and there may be some stray, faint drops outside of the main stain heading toward/from the door but not really anything indicative. ]
