Neither of us attacked the other. I was trying to make a good hiding place in the ice cream shop, but Kon found me there. It was tense, but once it was clear neither of us wanted to kill the other it was a little easier to talk.

I was about to tell him to find another spot to hide in, just in case there was another person awake looking for us, but my hand went to the knife on its own. And then...I can't really remember much after that. It's all gone, except for a couple blips here and there. I think he yelled my name at some point? And I remember I felt the burning on my skin from the chemicals, but I couldn't stop to do anything about it. I couldn't control anything. I couldn't do anything but scream.

The next thing I fully remember is sitting on Kon's back with the knife in both of my hands. I...I think he was already dead by then. There was so much blood everywhere...
