WEEK SEVEN: ENDGAME

Rise and shine, little deadlings. It's the dawn of the final day. The oppressive heat of Hell seems to rise and fall around you, and no matter where you slept last night you'll find that all of the islands across this realm are buzzing with excitement. You all know what comes next. Take some time, gather yourselves, and maybe even have some breakfast. Pick out your best party outfits and brush up on your etiquette. At about eleven in the morning, all participants single-dead and double-dead will find themselves on the receiving end of a new DM.

party starts in an hour!! if you're not in line now, you're gonna miss the start!!

Better start making your way to those wrought-iron gates at the edge of the city. You can see it now, the giant mansion situated at the top of the volcano, but it's still a distance away. The line seems to crawl, slowly, and as you draw closer you'll see several demons and humans being let through and just as many being turned away. But you? Lucky you...as you approach, a flickering shadow three times your size looks you over before letting you through the gate. There's a bridge strung over a pool of lava, wobbling with your every step as your skin practically boils you alive.

But then...as you approach the front doors? The Mansion Welcomes You.

Come on in! You were invited, after all. The party's just getting started but there isn't a shortage of humans and demons already milling around the property as music blasts from all directions. Immediately as you enter, you'll see a large sign hanging in the foyer advertising today's drink-off. There's also a list of names under it:

While we have specific toplevels for various events, players are free to use this as a normal party mingle! You can toplevel with prompts in the house, making plans for challenging Satan, catching up, etc.

WE WILL START THE DRINK-OFF IN A FEW HOURS. All drink-off threads will be wrapped and finalized by 9pm EST/6pm PST (normal trial hours.)

PERSONAL DEMONS

[ Your six personal demons are still working! Just because it's the big day doesn't mean they get to slack off too much, and you can find all of them outside in the backyard.

Rosé is in the backyard, looking comfortable on a lounge chair. He's wearing a cute sweater-dress with capris underneath, and leisurely enjoying a colorful drink.

Midori is chilling in a floatie in the backyard pool. She is drifting. She may perhaps be stuck.

Malibu Sunset is sprawled in a lounge chair near Rosé and Blue Hawaiian, wearing way too many layers paired with a necklace, the yellow fabric star bracelet from the previous week, and shades. He has an equally colorful drink and appears to be sipping on it as guests arrive.

Cosmopolitan is sitting on the bar. Not at. On, but not too far from the other demons. For once he's wearing clothes, and even Francois the stuffed bunny appears to be wearing a party hat to celebrate.

Blue Hawaiian is also wearing too many layers and his own pair of shades. He seems to have dyed his hair a dark brown for the occasion? Huh. He can most likely be found either lounging near the pool next to Rosé and Malibu Sunset, but he's also going back and forth behind the bar to make drinks. More often than not these are going straight to his fellow personal demons.

Bloody Mary seems absent from the most occupied areas of the party... but you can find her in one of the weirder looking rooms of the mansion, reading a book. The secret to finding her is spotting Thing wandering about and following him. He's enjoying the party. ]

The drinking contest against the Big Boss isn't for another couple of hours, but why not play a different game? Some of you suggested a fun, new game called Satan's Cup.

The rules are as follows:

Ace: Hold onto this and steal a card from someone else 2: Challenge someone to a contest that isn’t a physical fight. 3: Challenge someone else to combat. 4: Drink a bowl of Hell jungle juice (all drinks mixed together - random effect) 5: Drink a drink picked by the demons on Bicker. 6: All girls drink a drink. 7: All guys drink a drink. 8: Propose a new rule for the drinking contest 9: Give someone a dare. No softballs! Anyone who fails or softballs the dare is out of the game. 10: Kiss a person! (Chosen by RNG / Bicker poll) Jack: Reveal a secret you’ve been hiding from someone else in this room. Queen: Satan can propose what this card does. King: Satan takes a drink. Joker: A boon from Satan to rule over a domain of hell - our own island, or an army of demons, or a high ranking title.

Wanna play? Be sure to grab a drink and prepare your deck of cards. Now you'll just have to convince Satan to join you...

Whether you've drawn a three in Satan's Cup or you're just itching to beat the shit out of each other, there appears to be a special space just for that at the far end of the backyard on the opposite end of the bar and far from the pool. Prior to stepping up, you'll receive one warning in the form of a sign stuck in the grass:

Engage With Shadows at Own Risk!

You'll find there are cameras posed at the corners of the stage, and several seats available for anyone who wants to watch the show. The moment that two participants step up, however, things get a little more interesting as your shadows elongate and begin to manifest into your worst traumas, fears, and even on occasion something useful. Huh...this seems familiar to your Sunday mornings, doesn't it? At least your weapons are allowed here this time. What a relief.

Just remember kids, this is still a party! There are plenty of shenanigans to be had throughout the day besides Satan's Cup and the drink-off.

Booze is flowing plentifully and you're never at a risk of running out. Why not grab some friends and play a couple of other games while you wait on the action?

You have all the supplies you could ever need for all your favorites such as Never Have I Ever, Truth or Dare, Spin the Bottle, regular King's Cup and more. Sounds exciting, doesn't it?

It's always more fun to play these games with a group of friends you've gotten to know well.
