WEEK TWO - TRIAL

Hello, deadlings. Wow. Just...wow.
You may have been wondering what you could possibly do in the aftermath of yesterday's beek. Your demons weren't entirely helpful, and it seems that there were no answers to be found. But on Saturday morning at 11am, you'll soon hear a sound coming from the dock. There's a large ferry waiting for you, and even if you resist you'll eventually find yourself compelled to climb aboard and set off on a short voyage. The islands around you look fairly blurry, but you don't go very far before you stop at a slab of land with two large buildings stationed. The Execution Bar is locked tight and you won't be able to head in that direction. Instead, once again, your feet navigate you to the building on the right as the door creaks open.
Inside is a bar. It's dimly lit in several places, but bright enough for you to see each other and navigate without running into the furniture. Tables and chairs are scattered around in front of the bar counter, and the floor is far less sticky than the bar on the other island. Stained glass windows decorate the walls depicting images of humanity's suffering, and concrete crosses and tombstones are gathered in the corners. The bar itself is fully stocked with all types of alcohol and mixers, along with an array of bar food to help keep your energy up.
At the head of the room lounging among the statues of saints and the Blessed Virgin are Blue Hawaiian, Cosmopolitan and Midori.
Above them hangs another hand-painted banner, sloppily thrown together.
12pm - 9pm
Vote or suffer eternal damnation
You can try to leave, but the door to the bar has been locked. All of the windows are reinforced, and there isn't another way out. You've been called here for one reason...let the misery begin!
Hello, and welcome to your third trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about this week's murder! Characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.
There will be a mod-tag break between 4pm EST/1pm PST to 5pm EST/2pm PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.
Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure to read this page carefully and that your vote is in by the time trial finishes (9pm EST/6pm PST).
Good luck, and have fun!

i really hate that i have to write this first. does nameless have all of his body parts as far as we can tell. what's noticeable at first glance? ]
no subject
no he does not. guess what's missing! (it's an arm.) (that's not a joke.) ]
no subject
im kidding (or am i). which arm is missing. is it missing entirely from the shoulder joint? from the elbow? does it look like it was neatly cut off or sawed off? what's the condition of the remaining arm. IS THERE AT LEAST ONE ARM? I DONT TRUST ANYONE ]
no subject
the body still has a right arm! it looks pretty bloody and cut up. ]
no subject
are the cuts on the left arm concentrated in any specific places? hand, forearm, upper arm? are they varying in size or consistent? do they cover the front of his arm only, or the back of it as well? what about the rest of the torso, what's that looking like? ]
no subject
the whole body is wet, and so the shirt is sticking to his skin, but there are some red spots and small tears scattered across it. ]
no subject
is there any glass embedded in the spots with tears and red spots on the shirt? he will very carefully remove this Wet shirt. and. does it smell like chlorine as he pulls it up? or Sea Water? or fish. does it smell like fish.
what's the state of his torso under the Wet Shirt ]
no subject
lu bixing removes the Wet Shirt. it doesn't smell like sea water, but it does smell faintly of fish. underneath the shirt, the torso is sporting some similar cuts to the arm, with similarly varied bits of glass in bloody cuts.
there is a bruise on his chest. ]
no subject
are the torso cuts also random in placement? ]
no subject
the cuts do seem pretty random, yes. ]
no subject
what if he looks underneath him, at his back now that his shirt is off? are there random cuts and bruises there too? also while we're here, how's his neck looking? ]
no subject
the bruises are not lumpy. they are not particularly thin or wide. and they do not really pass over his shoulders.
his back has similar bruises to the front, as well as similar cuts!
his neck looks fine. ]
no subject
this helps though thank you! also - on his hands on his arms, is the skin pruney at all? like he'd been in the water for a long time?
after that, how about his face? he'll check his eyes, as well as turn his head from side to side carefully, look at the ears, and check in his mouth as well. any discoloration or anything unusual? what about if he carefully runs over his head checking for bumps? ]
no subject
there are some glass shards in his face, so it's a bit cut up and bloody too...
anyway when lbx runs his hand carefully over the body's head... he finds that his hair is bloody and matted around the top. where his head has been bashed in. ]
no subject
wow that's. awful. hate it, thanks. is there any residue or anything that isn't human matter in the bashed in injury.... is it the entire top of the head or just a singular spot? also, is his hair wet with water and not just blood? and are the face shards small, too? mixed up in places?
is there anything at the back of the head, either? he's cradling his head so carefully. :( ]
no subject
there's no non-human matter in the head injury. it's the entire top of the head - it is a very big wound. his hair is wet with water as well and blood. the shards vary in size, but most are pretty small.
there's nothing on the back of the head that isn't just part of the Head Bashed In wound. ]
no subject
moving on. how about the lower half of the body? is he missing any more limbs. are there more glassy cuts on his leggies? does he have both of his shoes. the little things. ]
no subject
he still has his shoes on! ]
no subject
is there anything in his pockets, also?
i cant believe there's a second nameless while this is happening. ]
no subject
the whole body is wet, so so if there ever were any debris on the shoes, it has probably been washed away. they look just like his usual shoes!
his pockets are empty. ]
no subject
i guess unfortunately he'll also check his feet without shoes too. any glass/cuts there?
also im so sorry to ask about the bruises again but i just want to make sure - are they like, consistently round? or (mumbles) a shape. and then, in terms of being interconnected, are there any that interconnect across - like for example, one that starts on the front, one that's on his side, and wraps around to the back? ]
no subject
no injuries on his feets. guess they were protected by the shoes you took off.
bruises tend to take weird shapes regardless of their source... but they could feasibly be round. but none of them wrap around in a, like, curling kind of shape, no. ]
no subject
he'll carefully redress nameless and make sure his sweet little eyes are closed afterwards though. :( ]
no subject
nameless is redressed, thank you, that's very polite of you. ]
