WEEK THREE - TRIAL

Hello, deadlings. We're right back at it, huh?
You may have been wondering what you could possibly do in the aftermath of yesterday's beek. Your demons weren't entirely helpful, and it seems that there were no answers to be found. But on Saturday morning at 11am, you'll soon hear a sound coming from the dock. There's a large ferry waiting for you, and even if you resist you'll eventually find yourself compelled to climb aboard and set off on a short voyage. The islands around you look fairly blurry, but you don't go very far before you stop at a slab of land with two large buildings stationed. The Execution Bar is locked tight and you won't be able to head in that direction. Instead, once again, your feet navigate you to the building on the right as the door creaks open.
Inside is a bar. It's dimly lit in several places, but bright enough for you to see each other and navigate without running into the furniture. Tables and chairs are scattered around in front of the bar counter, and the floor is far less sticky than the bar on the other island. Stained glass windows decorate the walls depicting images of humanity's suffering, and concrete crosses and tombstones are gathered in the corners. The bar itself is fully stocked with all types of alcohol and mixers, along with an array of bar food to help keep your energy up.
At the head of the room lounging among the statues of saints and the Blessed Virgin are Bloody Mary, Malibu Sunset and RosΓ©. With them is also a cut-out of Guy Fieri, dressed as a (sexy?) samurai with a bunch of cool flames cut out of construction paper glued to his back as he walks away from an explosion. He is also holding a sign that says "YOU CAN SOLVE IT!" However, there are now paper tears glued to his face as well.
Above them hangs another hand-painted banner, sloppily thrown together.
12pm - 9pm
Vote or suffer eternal damnation
You can try to leave, but the door to the bar has been locked. All of the windows are reinforced, and there isn't another way out. You've been called here for one reason...let the misery begin!
Hello, and welcome to your fourth trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about this week's murder! Characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.
There will be a mod-tag break between 4pm EST/1pm PST to 5pm EST/2pm PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.
Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure to read this page carefully and that your vote is in by the time trial finishes (9pm EST/6pm PST).
Good luck, and have fun!

but paying attention to the ground hunter will see that there's something that looks like dirt under some of the broken glass. it almost looks... foot sized.
date can smell the liquid next to the broken glass! it smells.... like dirt. the broken glass also smells like dirt. there's nothing else really out of place in the bar area.
there is no blood with the plants or furniture, but there is some glass. in the same way there is kind of glass everywhere. the plants are (looks at the locations page) "large, healthy plants". look it's just the plants that have been here all week i got nothing
but persephone has been drinking a lot this week so she can specifically sniff that the dirt liquid might be Bad Luck. ]

[Ah. Feet(?) crimes... He takes a picture of them first. Is he able to open his foot mind palace and compare his own feet to the prints, assuming they're clear enough for that?
And just to confirm: The dirt is all under the glass, not on top of it?]

All right, well. I'm gonna grab one of these beers, seeing as one was definitely missing. I've only been drinking the beer this week-- but did any of the other drinks smell like dirt?
[ because wow.
dirt smell. ]

[ do not ask how she knows this, but she is pretty certain. wrapping up with the bar, she moseys on over to where hunter has discovered The Foot in order to give a second comparison...
but she's wearing sandals, and there is glass on the floor, and the dice were not very kind to me. it's not a huge piece of glass she steps on, but it's enough to get her to bleed. of note: her blood is a warm yellow. ]
Ow, sugar snaps, that hurts! Why did I think going somewhere where there was definitely going to be broken glass in flats would be a great idea...
no subject
now there is blood next to the footprints. thanks persephone. hopefully it doesn't mix in. ]

[AHHHH HER PEET!!!! He quickly takes off his shirt and offers it to her so she can. Wrap up her foot or something. He's panic. But also he kind of makes a barricade with the glass he picked off the footprints to shield them from the blood. Trust nothing.
Can he get a good measurement for both the footprints? He will compare against his feet and take down some notes so they can run a foot check later.]
Date, can you make sure there's nothing under the furniture either?
no subject
date's looking under the furniture for anything and if it's there he's grabbing it.
i, becks, am hustling. ]

[ you know what. she's going to take advantage of this. she pushes hunter's shirt away as she steps on some more glass, purposely this time. ]
Hunter, Date, get your cameras ready.
[ with that, she presses her now very bloody foot down next to the first set of prints, wincing as she puts pressure on it. she lifts it to leave an almost perfect impression of her foot for direct comparison, then does the same thing for the other set, blinking back tears as she does so. ]
no subject
but yes you could get a good size comparison with just notes and their own feet. yay!
there's nothing under the furniture.
bloody mary looks over at the commotion ]
Did you seriously get injured. Honestly. One of you pick her up when you're ready to leave.
[ they look so judgmental ]

He's gonna take picture to commemorate Persephone's sacrifice and then just. Scoop her up if she'll allow it?? Or offer her support so she can be stubborn and walk. Either one is fine. Farewell, cursed bar.]
no subject
I can walk just fine, it's okay, let's just get back to the others already.
