Hello, deadlings. Ready to work double-time?

You may have been wondering what you could possibly do in the aftermath of yesterday's beek. Your demons weren't entirely helpful, and it seems that there were no answers to be found. But on Saturday morning at 11am, you'll soon hear a sound coming from the dock. There's a large ferry waiting for you, and even if you resist you'll eventually find yourself compelled to climb aboard and set off on a short voyage. The islands around you look fairly blurry, but you don't go very far before you stop at a slab of land with two large buildings stationed. The Execution Bar is locked tight and you won't be able to head in that direction. Instead, once again, your feet navigate you to the building on the right as the door creaks open.

Inside is a bar. It's dimly lit in several places, but bright enough for you to see each other and navigate without running into the furniture. Tables and chairs are scattered around in front of the bar counter, and the floor is far less sticky than the bar on the other island. Stained glass windows decorate the walls depicting images of humanity's suffering, and concrete crosses and tombstones are gathered in the corners. The bar itself is fully stocked with all types of alcohol and mixers, along with an array of bar food to help keep your energy up.

At the head of the room lounging among the statues of saints and the Blessed Virgin are Bloody Mary, Cosmopolitan and Midori. With them is also a cut-out of Guy Fieri, dressed as a (sexy?) samurai with a bunch of cool flames cut out of construction paper glued to his back as he walks away from an explosion. He is also holding a sign that says "YOU CAN SOLVE IT!" However, there are now paper tears glued to his face as well. And he looks ready to fall apart.

The second, fresher Fieri is also still here. Why.

Above them hangs another hand-painted banner, sloppily thrown together.

You can try to leave, but the door to the bar has been locked. All of the windows are reinforced, and there isn't another way out. You've been called here for one reason...let the misery begin!

Hello, and welcome to your sixth trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about this week's murders! Characters will have time to examine the bodies of the victim and explore relevant locations.

There will be a mod-tag break between 4pm EST/1pm PST to 5pm EST/2pm PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure to read this page carefully and that your vote is in by the time trial finishes (9pm EST/6pm PST).

[ it's with some reluctance and a heavy sigh that persephone allows herself to be checked by anyone this week, since as lbx mentioned, pickings are running a little slim. she will ask to be seated as she undresses and for patdowns! first off: she's wearing this dress and a corsage on her wrist. a man is dead but fashion is forever.

as previously mentioned, there's a crown of wisterias sitting atop her head, which she will remove should anyone want to check her hair. it's still the same length as it was during the masquerade, just unbraided now and going a little past the small of her back.

as for the rest of her, her left foot is still bandaged from the other week. there's a new bandage, too! this one wraps around her waist. there are also assorted lil scratches and small bruises on her arms and legs but like who doesn't have those these days. ]

[she wants to check her hair, yes. she also wants to check her clothing, including the corsage and the crown of wisterias.]

[ what is harrow looking for? i can tell you straight off that the flowers are just. flowers. they look like flowers, smell like flowers, probably taste like flowers but please dont eat them while shes wearing them ]

[if there's anything unusual about the flowers, if there's anything in them like pieces of dirt or chemical or blood kind of between the petals. and she's not looking at them while she's wearing them, she'd want to look under where she's wearing the corsage on her wrist and at her hair under the crown as well.]

[ they are all clean! also idk if i overtly mentioned it but they're all real flowers, nothing synthetic.

there are no weird marks or discolorations on her wrist under the corsage, and her hair is just. hair. the most that harrow will find are probably loose wisteria petals that have fallen from the crown. ]

[cool. she'll look through her braid for anything stuck in her hair besides the wisteria petals and will also look for any marks or stains on her clothes, and will check to see if her hands and nails are clean.]

[ braid and hands are clean, nails are still painted dark blue from the masquerade (also clean underneath). none marks or stains on her clothes! like, maybe a little bit of (mustard) blood might have gotten on the inside of her dress's waist as she took it off to be checked, but otherwise, nada. ]

how dried is the blood? does persephone have an actively bleeding injury under there?]

[ MAKES A SCRUNKLE FACE IN GIDEON'S DIRECTION WHEN HARROW SAYS SHE HEARD ABOUT IT

the blood on her dress is dry, but not like, crusty. probably a few hours old? for the record the blood is on the left side of her waistline, below the ribcage and above her hips. it is pretty synchronous with the part of her waist that is bandaged over. ]

[cool well she doesn't know anything else is going on so she will do what is logical and force persephone to unbandage all her wounds.

she'll check under them. does it look consistent with a single stab that has been healing for a few days now?]

[ she will probably ask for help removing them, but she won't fight the request.

yes, the wound matches that description pretty well! anticipating further questions, she goes ahead and removes the dressing, too—it looks like it was made with something the size of a knife or dagger rather than a sword, and it's both shallow enough and positioned in such a way to have missed anything vital.

it also starts bleeding a little now that the gauze isn't plugging it up anymore, so like, yay harrow probably has some 2iick blood dude on her hands now. it's like regular blood, just golden. ]

[harrow is the least squeamish person in the world. anyway, she'll help her redress and bandage it she's pretty good at that.]

[ it was meant more as establishing that her blood has the properties that you would expect from a regular human's! also psychic damage for you to see trolltext again this week.

as they work on patching her back up, she just mumbles, ]
