WEEK SEVEN: ENDGAME

Rise and shine, little deadlings. It's the dawn of the final day. The oppressive heat of Hell seems to rise and fall around you, and no matter where you slept last night you'll find that all of the islands across this realm are buzzing with excitement. You all know what comes next. Take some time, gather yourselves, and maybe even have some breakfast. Pick out your best party outfits and brush up on your etiquette. At about eleven in the morning, all participants single-dead and double-dead will find themselves on the receiving end of a new DM.

party starts in an hour!! if you're not in line now, you're gonna miss the start!!

Better start making your way to those wrought-iron gates at the edge of the city. You can see it now, the giant mansion situated at the top of the volcano, but it's still a distance away. The line seems to crawl, slowly, and as you draw closer you'll see several demons and humans being let through and just as many being turned away. But you? Lucky you...as you approach, a flickering shadow three times your size looks you over before letting you through the gate. There's a bridge strung over a pool of lava, wobbling with your every step as your skin practically boils you alive.

But then...as you approach the front doors? The Mansion Welcomes You.

Come on in! You were invited, after all. The party's just getting started but there isn't a shortage of humans and demons already milling around the property as music blasts from all directions. Immediately as you enter, you'll see a large sign hanging in the foyer advertising today's drink-off. There's also a list of names under it:

[ lu bixing's here to play the game they worked so hard on as a practice round! he's sitting in a barstool, leaning backwards, dressed smartly in a vest with a little bolo tie - though the charm in the center is a little devil face - and his sleeves rolled up to his elbows. he's got his trenchcoat hanging over his shoulders, and a pair of aviator sunglasses pushed up into his perfectly coiffed hair like a supermodel. his eye's all healed up so he's at full winking capacity, and he lifts a drink to his mouth and does just that, winking at the nearest person.]

Practice makes perfect, right? Let's play.

[refate]

[ wao, two eyeballs again.

kon holds up a 4 for him like :blobslightsmile: ]

Hi, Teach. Ready to put your experiments to the test?

[engineers]

Absolutely.

[ he looks a little, only a little warily at this hell jungle juice, before he wipes his mouth. ]

Okay. Bottoms up.

[ and will pour himself a drink and take a big gulp of it! there's like, a brief pause as he smacks his lips together, trying to come up with a word to describe the taste.

and then two seconds later, he's sporting a pair of floppy brown puppy dog ears and a tail.

bixing has yet to notice. ] ...Well, the good news is, I don't feel very angry. So that's a start.

[refate]

[ watches this intently, before a slow, delighted grin spreads across his face. ]

Yeah, that's a pretty good start. [ taking his phone out to record a video casually, subtly. ] Hey - did you and the Commander coordinate? He looks really good for the party, right?

[engineers]

[ the tail starts wagging ]

Yeah! Yeah, we did. He looks amazing, doesn't he? Then again, I think Lin could pull off a paper bag.

[refate]

[ records it... ]

You both look great, Teach. I think he'll love the new accessorizing, too, if you showed him. [ turns his phone around to show him the tail wagging after he gets a good clip of it. ]

ANYWAY congrats on your eyeballs and your winking, from one chronic winker to another.]

I think you're up, unless you want me to draw first! Or we can reveal them at the same time.

[ he draws a card, not quite flipping it over yet, and gives it a wiggle. ]

Ready? 3, 2-- [And he flips his! It's a 6]

[ and bixing's is a 10! lol ]

Okay, one for the ladies, and... you get to kiss someone, looks like! Better check Bicker. What do your adoring fans want?

I see. I wonder who the demons are most interested in seeing...

[ he looks down at his phone, waiting for the bicker results to come in. harrow you're about to start an entire ship war. ]

[ and fiddling around with the cards, he pulls - an 8! wow. ] Oh! A new rule, Harrow.

grab some more of this awful jungle juice and take a swig. at this point i should mention he is sporting a pair of dog ears and a fluffy brown tail. bixing smacks his lips together, and then says: ]

date gets to feel lu bixing's emotions which are currently just happyhappyhappyhappyhappy. he is in a very good mood. ]
