superhell | WEEK SEVEN: ENDGAME

Rise and shine, little deadlings. It's the dawn of the final day. The oppressive heat of Hell seems to rise and fall around you, and no matter where you slept last night you'll find that all of the islands across this realm are buzzing with excitement. You all know what comes next. Take some time, gather yourselves, and maybe even have some breakfast. Pick out your best party outfits and brush up on your etiquette. At about eleven in the morning, all participants single-dead and double-dead will find themselves on the receiving end of a new DM.

party starts in an hour!! if you're not in line now, you're gonna miss the start!!

Better start making your way to those wrought-iron gates at the edge of the city. You can see it now, the giant mansion situated at the top of the volcano, but it's still a distance away. The line seems to crawl, slowly, and as you draw closer you'll see several demons and humans being let through and just as many being turned away. But you? Lucky you...as you approach, a flickering shadow three times your size looks you over before letting you through the gate. There's a bridge strung over a pool of lava, wobbling with your every step as your skin practically boils you alive.

But then...as you approach the front doors? The Mansion Welcomes You.

Come on in! You were invited, after all. The party's just getting started but there isn't a shortage of humans and demons already milling around the property as music blasts from all directions. Immediately as you enter, you'll see a large sign hanging in the foyer advertising today's drink-off. There's also a list of names under it:

He just raises a paw and makes the most awkward scissors gesture Tuuri has ever seen, signaling that yeah, he knows the game. Have you seen his digits, this is a paw, haha]

Yeah! That'll work, that will--Don't hold back, Tuuri!

[Rock paper scissors, alright! Let's do it]

[Yeah, pretty clear he's flustered because somehow the thought this may happen literally never crossed his mind, but he nods. Inwardly he's kind of baffled the people wanted this, hah]

Filbo does his best with receiving a kiss from a human and, once it happens, well, he's definitely all flustered. Grumpuses can't blush because how is one going to see that, but his fur is all puffed up, making him look fluffier than usual]

Well that was something. Can't say I thought the hell experience would have this happen at any point!

[He's self-consciously trying to smooth his fur down as if he was trying to hide that yeah, he got flustered]

[He hasn't even finished trying to make his fur look fine again from getting all flustered when Zagreus approaches.

[And he winces a little because why is he thanking, good grief, hah. Yeah, the awkwardness gets him but at least he feels awkward in a good way]

Sorry, haha, it just is that I didn't think I'd hear something like there's people who would want to kiss me. Didn't think I'd get told that kind of thing to me.

[Yeah, if having friendly relationships at home was something he had trouble with, anything like this probably is new territory too, so this most likely is the first time he hears anything similar and therefore he's not sure how to react...but does feel flattered somehow, to having heard it at all in the first place, even though he has no idea who or why would want to do such a thing as to kiss him, game or not]

Sir Filbo, mate! I don't know why you would ever think that. Love... It transpires all and everyone is deserving, no matter their history. Of course if that isn't ever what you want, that is fine, too. There are plenty of connections we make that are intimate in a different sense and those are just as important.

[The first time I played him in a murdergame he was in the library checking out books and stumbled upon many about romancing cryptids and he got told pretty upfront 'hey humans sometimes are eager to hook up with creatures that arent humans' and he had no idea what to do with that information, haha]
