WEEK SEVEN: ENDGAME

Rise and shine, little deadlings. It's the dawn of the final day. The oppressive heat of Hell seems to rise and fall around you, and no matter where you slept last night you'll find that all of the islands across this realm are buzzing with excitement. You all know what comes next. Take some time, gather yourselves, and maybe even have some breakfast. Pick out your best party outfits and brush up on your etiquette. At about eleven in the morning, all participants single-dead and double-dead will find themselves on the receiving end of a new DM.

party starts in an hour!! if you're not in line now, you're gonna miss the start!!

Better start making your way to those wrought-iron gates at the edge of the city. You can see it now, the giant mansion situated at the top of the volcano, but it's still a distance away. The line seems to crawl, slowly, and as you draw closer you'll see several demons and humans being let through and just as many being turned away. But you? Lucky you...as you approach, a flickering shadow three times your size looks you over before letting you through the gate. There's a bridge strung over a pool of lava, wobbling with your every step as your skin practically boils you alive.

But then...as you approach the front doors? The Mansion Welcomes You.

Come on in! You were invited, after all. The party's just getting started but there isn't a shortage of humans and demons already milling around the property as music blasts from all directions. Immediately as you enter, you'll see a large sign hanging in the foyer advertising today's drink-off. There's also a list of names under it:

While we have specific toplevels for various events, players are free to use this as a normal party mingle! You can toplevel with prompts in the house, making plans for challenging Satan, catching up, etc.

WE WILL START THE DRINK-OFF IN A FEW HOURS. All drink-off threads will be wrapped and finalized by 9pm EST/6pm PST (normal trial hours.)

Eh, don't worry about that. This is normal for us, and you're wearing what's normal for you. Boss's party is casual wear!

Well that's a relief. But the usual uniforms don't let you two show off how stylish you are, huh?

It's part of the reason we got Boss to agree to let us stop wearing them.

Oh, but you should try some of the new drinks, they sound interesting don't they?

I wouldn't worry about that. It's a party, so you were supposed to wear what you were most comfortable in. This is normal for us, so we didn't think too much about it.

Well this is pretty comfortable, so I guess this works. Truthfully most of the feminine clothes here leave me feeling cold, they're very thin compared to what I'm used to.

Oh. Yeah I suppose they would if you were only looking in the costume shop and stuff. Hikaru and I could have tried to find something more suitable if you wanted, but you seem happier this way.

I guess wool isn't as popular here though.

Wool is a harder material to work with, plus there aren't a ton of places in Hell you'd have to keep really warm. There's nothing really wrong with it though. [ kaoru has a lot of thoughts on clothes and materials, but ultimately he's fine with whatever she's comfy with. ]

That's true, I guess hell would be warm regardless of what you wore.

[She. Never really considered that whoops.]

It made our uniforms kind of a pain in the ass after a while, too. [ hot...terrible. ] But at least Alex's house is a good temperature so you won't overheat while you're here.

That's nice, at least. Truthfully wearing wool has been pretty good for preventing that. It's still warm in the clothes, but wool is also good at trapping moisture which prevents you from overheating.

I think I'll leave all the wool to you for now. Sound fair?

Sounds fair. I'd be willing to try anything fashionable you have to offer up though.

Oh yeah? [ he seems to perk up at that. ] Come see me and Hikaru later, there's a bunch of places in the city we can look at and find you something really cute.

[ they have no idea how this party will end, but in the event tuuri stays in hell with them...well. yeah. ]
