WEEK SEVEN: ENDGAME

Rise and shine, little deadlings. It's the dawn of the final day. The oppressive heat of Hell seems to rise and fall around you, and no matter where you slept last night you'll find that all of the islands across this realm are buzzing with excitement. You all know what comes next. Take some time, gather yourselves, and maybe even have some breakfast. Pick out your best party outfits and brush up on your etiquette. At about eleven in the morning, all participants single-dead and double-dead will find themselves on the receiving end of a new DM.

party starts in an hour!! if you're not in line now, you're gonna miss the start!!

Better start making your way to those wrought-iron gates at the edge of the city. You can see it now, the giant mansion situated at the top of the volcano, but it's still a distance away. The line seems to crawl, slowly, and as you draw closer you'll see several demons and humans being let through and just as many being turned away. But you? Lucky you...as you approach, a flickering shadow three times your size looks you over before letting you through the gate. There's a bridge strung over a pool of lava, wobbling with your every step as your skin practically boils you alive.

But then...as you approach the front doors? The Mansion Welcomes You.

Come on in! You were invited, after all. The party's just getting started but there isn't a shortage of humans and demons already milling around the property as music blasts from all directions. Immediately as you enter, you'll see a large sign hanging in the foyer advertising today's drink-off. There's also a list of names under it:

It's really easy. We just pose and smile at the camera. [ he gestures at the lens on his personal device, which even helpfully lights up like hello yes i'm here ] And then it records an image of us to keep. It's great to keep so you can have a tangible memory of a really, really good time. I'll send it to you when we're done, too!

[ really, really good time..... she sees his propaganda.

it can be touch week, so when she moves in to get closer to him for the picture, she slips her arms around him in a loose hug before she looks at the camera. ]

anyway this is adorable. he beams and nods. ]

[ and then turns a little to bonk his head against hers so they can both fit in the frame, and snaps a picture! he then opens the library to flip it so she can see the picture... its very cute. they look very related in this lighting. ]

[ she has about 50 conflicting feelings. ]

[ she doesn't know how she wants to take a compliment from mephisto, so she squints at him for two seconds. ]

[ she wants to punch him, but instead she looks at him for a long moment before she draws a card

and slaps a jack against his chest. ]

[ takes the card and gives it a little twirl like a magician! ]

Let's see, I just gave Mr. Asuka one of my more entertaining secrets...

...Well, it isn't a secret what I am anymore, but the detail I've generally avoided spreading around is that the Satan in my own world is my father! I didn't want anyone thinking I had a hand in this whole situation when it started, and it would have been too weird to bring it up later.

meanwhile, four doesn't look too surprised. ]

That explains a lot. You do look like Satan spawn.

[he holds up one of those little plastic balls, then points to a red solo cup on a table some feet away]

[ is he asking her to play beer pong? she doesn't know what that is, so she looks from the ball to the cup. ]

That seems simple enough.

[ she holds out her hand for a ball. ]

[STOP he put out an empty cup because he thinks it's gross to throw a ball into a drink and drink it after...

he hands it to her, but like he holds her hand at the same time and squeezes it before pulling back, is he trying to fluster her......]

I'm rooting for ya.

[ she's jrpg, so she tosses the ball with superhuman speed and strength and it knocks the cup over and out, more than it goes into the cup. ]

[STOP HE THINKS SHE'S CUTE!!! he's grinning]

Damn, that was some shot. [THE STRENGTH??? this is why four can snap him over her knee that easily. he goes over to fix the cup and retrieve the ball,

then throws.... a gentle throw.... it pings right on the edge of the table and ricochets back to him -- which he catches at least]
