WEEK TWO - MINGLE

Rise and shine, little deadlings. Congratulations on not losing your head this weekend!
Ooh...too soon? Hm. Lighten up a little, gosh! Satan's grace has shined upon you and you have more opportunities to show just why you deserve an invite to the house party.
For those of you who slept in the dorm last night, when you make your way downstairs to head off for the day you'll be greeted with a new message on the white board in the common room.
The countdown continues...
But out the door you go for another busy week. At the dock, there's a ferry happily floating on the lava and waiting for you to climb aboard. While there are still several islands in your line of vision you can't quite see, it seems as though the ferry can now shuttle you between the college island, Hallow's Hollow, and a new location called Subnutica. Yeah. You heard us.
The nice thing is that your emotions seem to be in tact again. You feel a little recalibrated. You find that you're no longer struggling to understand why you're feeling the way you feel, but something still feels...off. It's hard to pinpoint what exactly it is, but it's as though a part of you is missing. Maybe eventually you'll discover that your sense of direction has disappeared. Or you've lost your ability to empathize with others (if you even had that to begin with). And even moreso, some of you may discover you've lost even more important things, such as your eyesight or your sense of touch. Various losses will persist throughout the whole week, but on occasion you may find you've regained what you initially lost and have lost something else instead.
It almost seems as though it's simply meant to be an annoyance.
And speaking of annoyances? Don't forget to check out what's new on Bicker. You can always contact each other via public Beeks or by sliding into their DMs.
Likewise, you'll find that your personal demons' accounts are live and active and despite what some of them may say, their DMs are also open.
Enjoy yourselves!
Good morning everybody, and welcome to your week one mingle! A few notes for clarity.
-This week's effect is loss! This one is a little more open-ended for you guys to play with! This can be anything from loss of senses, loss of certain emotions, loss of skills, loss of memories, loss of your mind, etc. If you're not sure, please feel free to ask! You do not have to stick with the same loss for the whole week! You can change it up as you see fit and/or for rule of funny.
-Audiences for the personal demons are now open! Please submit all requests under the correct weekly header.
-Please submit all PC submissions under the correct weekly header.
-The Bicker poll is public! All replies will be public, and players may also post their own Beeks in their toplevels that will be considered public. You are free to reply directly to the appropriate toplevels, or you may create Beeks in your own toplevels with other prompts. Be free.

... Providing all of us with weapons is definitely going to go badly, though.

[hefting it... it's a little heavy for him.]
Think you could snap the oar part off an oar?
no subject
no subject
[he's a caster of course he uses staves.]
no subject
[but sure, he'll go fetch an oar to break.]
no subject
[he usually has magic, okay.]
no subject
[but once rynlan is presumably a safe distance away, chandra'll use the sword to slice off the oar part]
no subject
Perfect. Should be able to wrap some fabric around it for a grip.
no subject
[he will hand it over to rynlan, then.
and then grab rynlan's other hand with his free one.]
no subject
[his ears flick-- hello, what is going on here.
a part of him suspects he's making a point about ryn needing to be less weak and he's about to get fucking judo flipped or something but his hand is already grabbed it's too late now]

[they're holding hands obviously chandra is not fine]

[Filbo nods. He takes a harpoon of his own. Apparently this week he's seeing nothing wrong with the thought of sabotaging someone else's boat during a competition on lava]
So, uh, I know how to build stuff, so anyone who needs that can come to me, I'm game!
[Not exactly a boat but he's good with manual work!]

[Then he offers the harpoon to Chandra. Want a weapon?]
no subject
sure he'll take the harpoon too]
The fact that you say it'll be fine makes me suspect that it will not, in fact, be fine, but very well.
no subject
[He nods emphatically. There's...something decidedly off about his tone, even though in theory those are all words he'd say anytime. Welp, such is what happened this week.
Having said that, he does get onto a rowboat, taking a sail with him]
So, first time on a boat, Chandra? It's not too hard, if it's your first time.
no subject
[but he'll get on the boat.]
While I don't exactly have extensive experience with this kind of thing, I'm familiar with them.
no subject
[Apparently he took Chandra stepping on the boat as confirmation he's in]
It's all on how you stand, especially when it gets moving. You should try to get comfortable with the sway of the water--uh, the lava.
[He extends the sail, pretty much indicating Chandra to grab the other end]
These days there are a lot more airships than ships where I'm from, so if I could I'd build a chimney for hot air for a balloon, but there probably isn't enough time for that.
no subject
If we turned into it an airship, I'm not sure if that qualify as going through the course anymore.
no subject
[Filbo blinks, looking at Chandra while he tries to make sure a sail will hold up]
You know, even if we make a bad boat, if others can't even move then...that's an option too, you know? Sabotage is fair game.
[There are plenty of anchors to try to place on everyone else's boats, for example. At the very least having a bit of an advantage is fine]
