WEEK THREE - TRIAL

Hello, deadlings. We're right back at it, huh?

You may have been wondering what you could possibly do in the aftermath of yesterday's beek. Your demons weren't entirely helpful, and it seems that there were no answers to be found. But on Saturday morning at 11am, you'll soon hear a sound coming from the dock. There's a large ferry waiting for you, and even if you resist you'll eventually find yourself compelled to climb aboard and set off on a short voyage. The islands around you look fairly blurry, but you don't go very far before you stop at a slab of land with two large buildings stationed. The Execution Bar is locked tight and you won't be able to head in that direction. Instead, once again, your feet navigate you to the building on the right as the door creaks open.

Inside is a bar. It's dimly lit in several places, but bright enough for you to see each other and navigate without running into the furniture. Tables and chairs are scattered around in front of the bar counter, and the floor is far less sticky than the bar on the other island. Stained glass windows decorate the walls depicting images of humanity's suffering, and concrete crosses and tombstones are gathered in the corners. The bar itself is fully stocked with all types of alcohol and mixers, along with an array of bar food to help keep your energy up.

At the head of the room lounging among the statues of saints and the Blessed Virgin are Bloody Mary, Malibu Sunset and Rosé. With them is also a cut-out of Guy Fieri, dressed as a (sexy?) samurai with a bunch of cool flames cut out of construction paper glued to his back as he walks away from an explosion. He is also holding a sign that says "YOU CAN SOLVE IT!" However, there are now paper tears glued to his face as well.

Above them hangs another hand-painted banner, sloppily thrown together.

You can try to leave, but the door to the bar has been locked. All of the windows are reinforced, and there isn't another way out. You've been called here for one reason...let the misery begin!

Hello, and welcome to your fourth trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about this week's murder! Characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.

There will be a mod-tag break between 4pm EST/1pm PST to 5pm EST/2pm PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

Finally, we have a voting page for characters to vote on the culprit! Please be sure to read this page carefully and that your vote is in by the time trial finishes (9pm EST/6pm PST).

Compared the blood on the sword to the blood on the piece of paper I got some of the hole blood onto. They look the same.

[Truthfully, Filbo only gets around half of it, but he can connect the dots from everything that was said. Zagreus wasn't stupid, if he got a few pieces of info, he would have figured things out too]

The bruises, Gideon beat me up on Thursday for healing Harrow. I think everyone has seen the arm, man ... and the harpoon hole. The other hole is from Bloody Mary. The punctures are from the Bone Guy on the Bone Adventure. My hands are from where I punched a mirror but Zagreus was there so I guess he's the only one that can confirm it, uh. The burns, Gideon and Lu Bixing saw it.

[Since there was evidence of a fight Childe will not complain about this one, even though he doesn't fit the shorty list.

As usual, he's got a bunch of bruises in a variety of shapes and sizes and levels of healing, as well as old scars, particularly the extra nasty one from arrival. He's not taking off his underwear so this will never leave bracket knowledge but I can tell you he definitely has ass bruises because of all the falling into memory holes.

Nothing looks particularly fresh and he doesn't have any like. New stitched up stab wounds or anything. Unless someone is about to stab me in a memshare thread in which case I will retcon this.]

[ there's not really an epicenter to the glass. there's more closer to the bar because that's where the glass probably originated from, though, since the glass seems to be from bottles and glasses and just... glass that should be in this bar. there's no blood anywhere they can see, and the statues and pillars have similar slash marks as everything else but nothing too intense. oh also i'm stupid and i forgot to mention the lights have been flickering in the bar all along so i guess there was something on the ceiling. which is mainly that a couple of the light fixtures look like they got some damage. so the glass is also from that.

but paying attention to the ground hunter will see that there's something that looks like dirt under some of the broken glass. it almost looks... foot sized.

date can smell the liquid next to the broken glass! it smells.... like dirt. the broken glass also smells like dirt. there's nothing else really out of place in the bar area.

there is no blood with the plants or furniture, but there is some glass. in the same way there is kind of glass everywhere. the plants are (looks at the locations page) "large, healthy plants". look it's just the plants that have been here all week i got nothing

but persephone has been drinking a lot this week so she can specifically sniff that the dirt liquid might be Bad Luck. ]

[ gideon can compare! with the new feathers that kuranosuke picked up, they appear to be similar in shape/consistency/color as three of the other feathers. however, there is still the slightly larger feather that is more of a pure white in comparison. ]

[how fresh/large are the cuts all over him, and also the bruises? are these things fairly consistent with each other? any that look newer than the others?]
