Rise and shine, little deadlings. It's the dawn of the final day. The oppressive heat of Hell seems to rise and fall around you, and no matter where you slept last night you'll find that all of the islands across this realm are buzzing with excitement. You all know what comes next. Take some time, gather yourselves, and maybe even have some breakfast. Pick out your best party outfits and brush up on your etiquette. At about eleven in the morning, all participants single-dead and double-dead will find themselves on the receiving end of a new DM.

party starts in an hour!! if you're not in line now, you're gonna miss the start!!

Better start making your way to those wrought-iron gates at the edge of the city. You can see it now, the giant mansion situated at the top of the volcano, but it's still a distance away. The line seems to crawl, slowly, and as you draw closer you'll see several demons and humans being let through and just as many being turned away. But you? Lucky you...as you approach, a flickering shadow three times your size looks you over before letting you through the gate. There's a bridge strung over a pool of lava, wobbling with your every step as your skin practically boils you alive.

But then...as you approach the front doors? The Mansion Welcomes You.

Come on in! You were invited, after all. The party's just getting started but there isn't a shortage of humans and demons already milling around the property as music blasts from all directions. Immediately as you enter, you'll see a large sign hanging in the foyer advertising today's drink-off. There's also a list of names under it:

WE WILL START THE DRINK-OFF IN A FEW HOURS. All drink-off threads will be wrapped and finalized by 9pm EST/6pm PST (normal trial hours.)

It's time for your final show-down against Satan, so let's go over how this works.

On your turn you may RNG what drink you get - and because these are small shots, the effect will not last nearly as long as usual. (Perhaps even... only a comment or two!) Along with deciding your drink effect, you will also roll a d20 on each turn! You may interpret your success or failure from that D20 roll however you think is reasonable... And you do get a bonus. You may add to every roll the number you received on your final "congrats on raising your alcohol tolerance!" slip of paper. (EX: If your most recent slip says +5, you can add +5 to all of your rolls.) You may interpret this as sheer alcohol tolerance, or any Magic Shenanigans your character has to help themselves win.

You may challenge Satan to any one of the following games.

Beer Pong - Both sides of a table have 10 cups, each half-full. Take turns trying to bounce a ping-pong ball off of the table and land it in your opponent's cup to make them drink its contents. Clear their side of the table to win. Stack Em - Take a shot, then use your empty shot-glass to build a pyramid. Start with 4 on the base level, then 3, 2, and 1 on top. The first level is easy, but be careful! In this challenge, drunken clumsiness could set back your progress. Build your pyramid first to win. Flip Cup - Both sides of a long table are lined with 10 cups. Down your drink, then place your cup half off the edge of the table. Hit it from below as many times as it takes for it to land face down, then move on to your next drink. Clear your side of the table first to win.

When commenting, please put the name of the game in the subject line for mod ease, and please let us know what your deciding scale is for your rolls (e.g. if you would consider all odd numbers a pass and all evens a fail, 1-10 a fail and 11-20 a pass, etc.)

[i'm probably overthinking this but since beer pong is easier the more cups there are and harder when you have to aim for just one - roll a dice! with 10 cups on a side, the difficulty requires a roll of 8 or higher to get your ball in the cup. add 1 to the difficulty for every cup that is removed. you'd need a score of 17 i can't count or higher to get your ball into the final cup, for example! does that work or is that too complicated? i can also just make it "roll higher than x score to get whichever cup you were aiming for" if that'd be easier.]

[ well it's... one thing to be thinking about the party for eight weeks, and another to actually be here. same goes for the party -- it was easy to assume party games, drinking games specifically, being at the end of all this but now he's actually here and getting ready to play them?
