Rise and shine, little deadlings. It's the dawn of the final day. The oppressive heat of Hell seems to rise and fall around you, and no matter where you slept last night you'll find that all of the islands across this realm are buzzing with excitement. You all know what comes next. Take some time, gather yourselves, and maybe even have some breakfast. Pick out your best party outfits and brush up on your etiquette. At about eleven in the morning, all participants single-dead and double-dead will find themselves on the receiving end of a new DM.

party starts in an hour!! if you're not in line now, you're gonna miss the start!!

Better start making your way to those wrought-iron gates at the edge of the city. You can see it now, the giant mansion situated at the top of the volcano, but it's still a distance away. The line seems to crawl, slowly, and as you draw closer you'll see several demons and humans being let through and just as many being turned away. But you? Lucky you...as you approach, a flickering shadow three times your size looks you over before letting you through the gate. There's a bridge strung over a pool of lava, wobbling with your every step as your skin practically boils you alive.

But then...as you approach the front doors? The Mansion Welcomes You.

Come on in! You were invited, after all. The party's just getting started but there isn't a shortage of humans and demons already milling around the property as music blasts from all directions. Immediately as you enter, you'll see a large sign hanging in the foyer advertising today's drink-off. There's also a list of names under it:

Ohhh, Prime Minister, you are so cool and important with your position of power that demands long hours and no time for you to tinker with science experiments. [ fake swoons at him, because he knows that lu bixing and his stupid fuckoff strength from the chip will save him. ]

Sure. [ chills like that until he's righted ] White picket fence, why not the dog next? Reptiles are all cute, at least, but not as fluffy.

Never done one once in my life. I can sell patents, though, considering they're saved on Yoru's drive and probably don't exist in the Eighth Galaxy like they do in my Tokyo.

[ she looks sad at all of this discussion, because parting ways with the people you've trauma bonded with over the past two months blows. still...she smiles. ]

You guys can take Tokki with you, the energy reactor could be of some use, with designing something to help us travel between worlds. And I can always put a new one together back home.

Yeah, of course. Tokki'd be in good hands and plus it wouldn't be the first time I've had to start over from scratch.

[ falsettos his voice briefly, before returning to normal as he rubs his thumb over her knuckles. ]

... you're just going somewhere I can't follow, at least right away. Can't really worry about you up close so I'd have to worry about you from a distance.

It's not goodbye forever, just for right now. [ way to quote yourself, nerd.

It was all for a very good reason, like I said! [ teasing. and yeah she will be with overwatch, which is extra safe!! totally!! no worries, my dude!! ]

We'll figure something out, we always do. Who knows, maybe tomorrow will come and the answer will be waiting for us.

As a collective, we're a bunch of hyperactive idiots with too much alcohol at our disposal. But we're pretty good at figuring things out together, in the end, if the weeks of trials are anything to go by. We'll be fine.

A million percent! [ nods and removes her bracelet, placing it into bixing's hands. ] This is Tokki's pager, basically, press that button and it'll come to wherever you are. Oh, and I'll give you guys a crash course in piloting it too.

he looks so touched, but he takes the bracelet and... after a moment, gently places it back into hana's hand, closing his around hers. ]

Tell you what. Once find out what tomorrow looks like, then we can talk about this - and, I'm not rejecting it, that's such - that's such an important present. And... I don't want to take it from you if I don't get to leave, okay?

[ she just looks up at him, holding his hand there for a moment. ]

I guess that's fair. But also, even if you do get stuck here, you can still have Tokki. I'm sure you'd be able to figure something out, even from hell.
