Rise and shine, little deadlings. Congratulations on not losing your head this weekend!

Ooh...too soon? Hm. Lighten up a little, gosh! Satan's grace has shined upon you and you have more opportunities to show just why you deserve an invite to the house party.

For those of you who slept in the dorm last night, when you make your way downstairs to head off for the day you'll be greeted with a new message on the white board in the common room.

But out the door you go for another busy week. At the dock, there's a ferry happily floating on the lava and waiting for you to climb aboard. While there are still several islands in your line of vision you can't quite see, it seems as though the ferry can now shuttle you between the college island, Hallow's Hollow, and a new location called Subnutica. Yeah. You heard us.

The nice thing is that your emotions seem to be in tact again. You feel a little recalibrated. You find that you're no longer struggling to understand why you're feeling the way you feel, but something still feels...off. It's hard to pinpoint what exactly it is, but it's as though a part of you is missing. Maybe eventually you'll discover that your sense of direction has disappeared. Or you've lost your ability to empathize with others (if you even had that to begin with). And even moreso, some of you may discover you've lost even more important things, such as your eyesight or your sense of touch. Various losses will persist throughout the whole week, but on occasion you may find you've regained what you initially lost and have lost something else instead.

It almost seems as though it's simply meant to be an annoyance.

Likewise, you'll find that your personal demons' accounts are live and active and despite what some of them may say, their DMs are also open.

-This week's effect is loss! This one is a little more open-ended for you guys to play with! This can be anything from loss of senses, loss of certain emotions, loss of skills, loss of memories, loss of your mind, etc. If you're not sure, please feel free to ask! You do not have to stick with the same loss for the whole week! You can change it up as you see fit and/or for rule of funny.

The actual construction and sailing of them? Not very. I'm used to them, though.

Right. Too much sharp stuff around, though, if we rely entirely on sails that's going to end badly... we'll need a backup.

That's true... and it'll be crowded if we get too late of a start. We might be better off using the harpoons and pulling ourselves along.

I like the way you think. Affix some chains to them, maybe reinforce the pointy end...

Right, exactly! The chains might block off others, while we're at it.

Spike the chains. There's enough material for it.

Sure, but don't make it too heavy or it'll slow us down.

Let him be, I'm sure he's been desperate to hold a weapon all this time.

True. Maybe we should just let him have a few moments uninterrupted.

[damn if we're all grabbing weapons, though, he's just picking up something more polearm-like.]

... Providing all of us with weapons is definitely going to go badly, though.

Providing all of us with boats was already going to go badly, Chandra, it's a matter of how much.

Think you could snap the oar part off an oar?

May as well have something to deflect with. I'm more comfortable with something lighter.

[he's a caster of course he uses staves.]

Perhaps you should consider being less weak?

[but sure, he'll go fetch an oar to break.]

It hasn't stuck, apparently. Anyway, step back in case this sends splinters flying.

He does have somewhat of a point about them being useful for sabotage, though!

[Filbo nods. He takes a harpoon of his own. Apparently this week he's seeing nothing wrong with the thought of sabotaging someone else's boat during a competition on lava]

So, uh, I know how to build stuff, so anyone who needs that can come to me, I'm game!

[Not exactly a boat but he's good with manual work!]

The fact that you say it'll be fine makes me suspect that it will not, in fact, be fine, but very well.

Aw, don't be like that! I promise it will be a-okay with you on my team. Just trust me and let me support you, alright?

[He nods emphatically. There's...something decidedly off about his tone, even though in theory those are all words he'd say anytime. Welp, such is what happened this week.

Having said that, he does get onto a rowboat, taking a sail with him]

So, first time on a boat, Chandra? It's not too hard, if it's your first time.

... You are being oddly... optimistic. Also, you have done little to earn my trust, so no.

While I don't exactly have extensive experience with this kind of thing, I'm familiar with them.
