WEEK TWO - MINGLE

Rise and shine, little deadlings. Congratulations on not losing your head this weekend!

Ooh...too soon? Hm. Lighten up a little, gosh! Satan's grace has shined upon you and you have more opportunities to show just why you deserve an invite to the house party.

For those of you who slept in the dorm last night, when you make your way downstairs to head off for the day you'll be greeted with a new message on the white board in the common room.

Five Weeks and Four Days Until Satan's House Party!!

The countdown continues...

But out the door you go for another busy week. At the dock, there's a ferry happily floating on the lava and waiting for you to climb aboard. While there are still several islands in your line of vision you can't quite see, it seems as though the ferry can now shuttle you between the college island, Hallow's Hollow, and a new location called Subnutica. Yeah. You heard us.

The nice thing is that your emotions seem to be in tact again. You feel a little recalibrated. You find that you're no longer struggling to understand why you're feeling the way you feel, but something still feels...off. It's hard to pinpoint what exactly it is, but it's as though a part of you is missing. Maybe eventually you'll discover that your sense of direction has disappeared. Or you've lost your ability to empathize with others (if you even had that to begin with). And even moreso, some of you may discover you've lost even more important things, such as your eyesight or your sense of touch. Various losses will persist throughout the whole week, but on occasion you may find you've regained what you initially lost and have lost something else instead.

It almost seems as though it's simply meant to be an annoyance.

Likewise, you'll find that your personal demons' accounts are live and active and despite what some of them may say, their DMs are also open.

Good morning everybody, and welcome to your week one mingle! A few notes for clarity.

-This week's effect is loss! This one is a little more open-ended for you guys to play with! This can be anything from loss of senses, loss of certain emotions, loss of skills, loss of memories, loss of your mind, etc. If you're not sure, please feel free to ask! You do not have to stick with the same loss for the whole week! You can change it up as you see fit and/or for rule of funny.

[A peculiar ferry pulls up through the water of the enclosed beach... Ding, ding. How'd it get there? It's fine, it's here now.

It stops just a few feet from shore, emitting a grinding, groaning sound. At the first grumble, a body(?) tumbles off over the railing, landing with a splash in the water.

The body rises to the surface, red hair bobbing, as the water around it turns dark and pink, most of it leeching from the numerous bright white shards riddled on the arm and shoulder. Otherwise, there's no movement, it just becomes one with the (artificial) sea.

Lavi is dead.

Damb. More importantly, the ferry starts up its noise again, just in time to...]

[...dump another body into the water!

Much like the first, the second body bobs up to the surface and starts to turn the water around it pink. Where is all of this blood coming from? Well, most of her normally-white clothes have been stained red, and there's trails of blood leaking out of every orifice on her face. She's also missing her shoes for some reason. hm.

She's not moving either. Her body just bobs in the water, moving along with the gentle waves of the artificial sea.

Tuuri is dead.

But there goes that noise again! The ship is struggling but eventually it will...]

[ ...unceremoniously spit out a third body into the water.

belly up, the third body bobs to the surface. much like lavi and tuuri before it, something dark and red slowly seeps off the body and stains the water around it pink. their dark hair sticks to their face where there are dark, tacky rivulets of red clinging to their skin despite the artificial sea's best attempts to wash it off.

there are trails coming down their cheeks from the corners of their eyes, trails from their nostrils down to their chin and neck, even some sluggishly seeping from their ears in a diluted shade of pink down to their jawline. there's more of it smeared all over their mouth, as well as a harsh line of it across their neck, apparently having dripped down and stained the entire front of their outfit red. their sides appear to be stained with red as well, but it's difficult to tell when they are half submerged in the water.

you have no idea who this is.

their body bobs up and down bonelessly in the water, and only one thing is for certain:

someone is dead.

but we're not done here. the ferry starts up its noise again, and... ]

[ … guess what, it’s another friggin’ body! what a surprise! what else would it be, dinguses.

seems like they’re pretty uuuuuuuuh fucked up though - their floating on their back too, but you can tell the left arm is bent at a bizarre angle and their face is covered in blood, streaming from the eyes and nose. There’s a nasty wound across (through?) the chest, but it's only oozing comparatively, and a few almost puncture-esque marks on their side - difficult to discern amongst the crowd and the water now.

except you’ve got no idea who this motherfucker is either.

someone is dead.

once more the ferry starts up … ]

[... and spits out a pair of crocs, which splash into the water and slowly float away. is that it?

no, it spits out another pair of shoes, which this time bounce off of one of the unknown bodies and starts to sink.

the ferry, its difficult work now completed, speeds away at mach fuck. later, suckers.]

[ok well, she has no idea who the last two people are but that doesn't matter, she's running out into the water to try and pull them back to shore anyway?? all of YOU!!!! AAAA]
