Rise and shine, little deadlings. It's the dawn of the final day. The oppressive heat of Hell seems to rise and fall around you, and no matter where you slept last night you'll find that all of the islands across this realm are buzzing with excitement. You all know what comes next. Take some time, gather yourselves, and maybe even have some breakfast. Pick out your best party outfits and brush up on your etiquette. At about eleven in the morning, all participants single-dead and double-dead will find themselves on the receiving end of a new DM.

party starts in an hour!! if you're not in line now, you're gonna miss the start!!

Better start making your way to those wrought-iron gates at the edge of the city. You can see it now, the giant mansion situated at the top of the volcano, but it's still a distance away. The line seems to crawl, slowly, and as you draw closer you'll see several demons and humans being let through and just as many being turned away. But you? Lucky you...as you approach, a flickering shadow three times your size looks you over before letting you through the gate. There's a bridge strung over a pool of lava, wobbling with your every step as your skin practically boils you alive.

But then...as you approach the front doors? The Mansion Welcomes You.

Come on in! You were invited, after all. The party's just getting started but there isn't a shortage of humans and demons already milling around the property as music blasts from all directions. Immediately as you enter, you'll see a large sign hanging in the foyer advertising today's drink-off. There's also a list of names under it:

While we have specific toplevels for various events, players are free to use this as a normal party mingle! You can toplevel with prompts in the house, making plans for challenging Satan, catching up, etc.

Why do we need to incorporate the demons, precisely?

If they want to go, then why not include them. Even if it's a consolation prize for putting up with our dumb asses for two motnhs.

It's blatant bias on my part, but if they want to go I'm happy to include that on my list of things to ask for.

I'm just not certain why they should be extended such consideration in the first place. They certainly didn't extend any to us.

The, like, things we did in the middle of the week kind of helped prepare us for this, y'know?

They also endorsed seven sennights of torment, murder, and subsequent gruesome executions.

They were given those jobs long before Mr. Firearm over there decided to get his murder on...

Then you can have that be part of someone else's win condition then. I'm pretty sure they had rules and guidelines they weren't actually allowed to break for weeks on end.

Sure seemed like it.

But… y’know. You spend time with people and they get under your skin. I don’t really want to walk away and leave them here without trying to help them. Like I said, I’m biased.

I'd like to hear a justification, at the very least.

Because they have worlds to go back to, too, homes and families and friends.

Does that justify what they did to us in the meantime?

Well, for one thing, much of this plan that gave us the chance to save anyone besides ourselves was devised through their assistance.

Helpful when matters suddenly stood the chance of benefiting them personally, then?

I think it's fair to say perhaps some of us don't deserve a second chance at life and that our sins weigh heavy enough for our souls to be tortured for all eternity, but likewise some of us may have landed here for simply being born.

So... Why not include them? They were working within a broken system and they could have been sent here without proper judgment.

There's also that, for many of us, they are our friends. Is that not enough?

Are you serious? Because we could have ended up in their positions just as easily. Because they have families and homes to get back to, just as much as we do, but they were never even given the chance to compete in the first place.

I'm very serious about wanting to hear people's feelings on the matter, yes.

Then those are mine. They're not bad people. They're just like us.

And King— I mean, Cosmopolitan's just a little kid. His sister is one of my best friends. He has to be included in our plans no matter what.
